Utica Police say Mohamed, who was driving the car, allegedly switched positions with Padiet and the pair fled the scene. Officers stopped the vehicle on Albany Street near Rutger Street and while Padiet was being interviewed outside the car, he tried to jump back into the vehicle and drive away. New phase in arterial project closes Court Street for a year
The arterial project in Utica enters a new, major phase on Monday, Sept 29. At 7 a.m. the New York State Department of Transportation will close Court Street at the North/South Arterial.
